If you made a cockpit/simpit, what technology would you incorporate? The title says behind the scenes. So i'm refering to soun boards behind switches. Any tech that not redily visable. Like joysticks and monitors. We know what those are. This is about the bells and whistles you would put in yours. Hula girls dont count unless you flip a switch and she dances.
Like you flip 1 switch. "Reactor online". What piece of tech make that happen? Where did you get it. How much was it?
You flip another switch killing all power. Again. What was it? How did you wire it up?
Maybe you made your cockpit already. Maybe your designing your own.
I'm looking for ideas like:
MWO Simulator Systems Panel This one i'm defiantly rippingx3
FSX EASY HOMECOCKPIT This one has back lit panels.

Wireless headphones with boom mic.

I just recently came accross this video from Corvair, which I'm sure he has posted somewhere on these forums. Looks like a pretty clean install w/o having to make a brazillion custom parts. I'm a huge fan of his start up sequence too.
